Purpose and scope
Kalkylkartan focuses on practical map measurements and coordinate tools. The explanations should make clear what is calculated, which units are used and what the answer does not establish. These tools do not replace a qualified surveyor or official navigation information.
Checking calculations
Our published method tests examine point density for area and distance measurements, WGS84/SWEREF round-trip conversion and travel-time estimates for the sample sea route. Reproducibility demonstrates how the software behaves; it is not certification of map accuracy.
Corrections and independence
Reports of wrong results, outdated sources or unclear explanations can be sent to [email protected]. Commercial relationships must not determine formulas, defaults or calculated results. Any future paid or affiliate content must be clearly identified.
